La BORDEAUXTHÈQUE

La Bordeauxthèque - Paris

250 m2 dedicated to Bordeaux wines

The Bordeauxthèque was born thanks to an ambitious partnership between Galeries Lafayette and the wine merchant DUCLOT: to open the greatest Bordeaux wine cellar in the world! The first store was inaugurated in Paris in May 2010. The BORDEAUXTHEQUE welcomes Parisians, looking for a bottle to drink at dinner as well as tourists who are charmed by the most mythical bottles one can find.

An incomparable offer of 1200 references

The Paris BORDEAUXTHEQUE offers the most prestigious Bordeaux appellations : Margaux, Saint-Julien, Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, the jewels of the Medoc ; Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, the stars of the right bank ; Pessac-Leognan and Sauternes, home to great dry and sweet white wines; and also wines from lesser-known terroirs at great prices.

Mythical growths and good bargains

Exceptional chateaux, classified or equivalent, constitute the core of the selection, with specific setting for the nine greatest wines of Bordeaux: Margaux, Lafite Rothschild, Latour, Mouton Rothschild, Haut-Brion, La Mission Haut-Brion, Cheval Blanc, Petrus and  Yquem.

Apart from these mythical labels, wine lovers can indulge themselves with a selection of very good and affordable Bordeaux from 4.90€ ! As to vintages, the most recent wines stand along side legendary years, such as 1945, 1961, 1982, 1990, 2000 ou 2005. A fabulous vertical of Yquem goes back to 1899 !

There is also an exceptional variety of formats : from half bottle to the rare imperial (6 L), with a good selection of magnums.

Directly from the chateaux

The BORDEAUXTHEQUE wines are all guaranteed to be bought directly from the Bordeaux wineries, without any intermediaries. Their excellent storage is prolonged in the store : constant temperature and LED lights.
